Earthworks: Open Juried Clay Annual

The 37th Annual of works in clay by New England artists. Entries due by April 16.

Call For Entries

Eligibility:

All artists are invited to submit up to five original works in clay. Works must have been finished in the last 2 years and not shown previously in any SCAA juried show.

Opening:

Awards given at the Opening Reception on Thursday, April 22, 7 to 9 pm.

Awards:

1st ($200), 2nd ($150), 3rd ($100), & 4th ($50) place cash awards. 3 Hon. Mentions.

Entry Fee:

$12/entry for members, (5 for $48); $15/entry for non-members. Fees are non refundable.

Liability:

SCAA assumes no liability for damage or loss. Any work not picked up after 60 days of the show’s end will become property of SCAA.

Sales:

SCAA retains 30% on all sales for members, 35% for non-members.

Delivery:

All entries must be hand-delivered to SCAA, April 11, 14, 15, 16, between 1-5 pm each day.

Pick-up:

Entries not accepted may be picked up Wed - Sun, 1 - 5 pm. Accepted work must be picked up on Sunday, May 16, between 1-5 pm. Please plan accordingly.

Juror:

Kristen Kieffer, MFA in Ceramics from Ohio University in Athens, 2001. She has exhibited her work internationally in juried and invitational exhibitions. She has also taught workshops around North America at craft centers and universities. Her work is in numerous private and public collections internationally.

On 4/17, 10 am, Kristen will comment on many of the works submitted to the juried show, everyone is welcome to attend. 4/18, 9 - 4 pm, Kristen will be giving a workshop. $45/members, $55 for non members. Come and meet with one of New England’s premier potters.
